Ristorante DellaSantina Every now and then you find a diamond in the rough.  Ristorante DellaSantina is definitely a diamond.  Inside this unassuming building just off Pittman Center Road, you will find the absolute best Italian food in this area.  I have never been to Italy, and don't know if this would be considered "authentic Italian food", all I know is that it is absoulutely delicious.  Do yourself a favor and take the drive and find out for yourself. Trotters BBQ Trotters BBQ is located in a recently renovated warehouse in the downtown section of Sevierville.  This is a great area to spend an evening just walking around enjoying some Southern charm and some of the areas less visited attractions.  Nearby you will find the Dolly Parton statue, butterfly mural and the Sevier County courthouse. Food Tonight we shared a plate: Pulled Pork with Thick Cut Potato Chips and Mac & Cheese The pork was moist with just the right amount of smoke.  The thick cut potato chips are excellent but the Mac & Cheese was a bit underwhelming. Service Trotters has counter service for ordering but then everything else is table service.  We have found the service to be spirited and cordial on all of our visits here. The Incredible Christmas Place The Incredible Christmas Place is conveniently located right on The Parkway in beautiful Pigeon Forge.  Right in the heart of many attractions and some of the areas best restaurants, The Incredible Christmas Place has become a must see attraction anytime you visit the area.  The Incredible Christmas Place is part of a large Christmas themed complex that includes the store itself, along with a candy store, personalized ornament store, gift wrapping center and of course The Christmas Inn just across the street.  This location is open year round and is always decorated for Christmas. Little Tokyo Hibachi Grill & Sushi   Little Tokyo is an Asian Fusion restaurant conveniently located between The Parkway and Teaster Lane.  They have hibachi grills, table service and take out options.  Located in a strip center with several other restaurants and local businesses, there is not much to see or do if you have to wait, but the wait times are usually very short. Food Grilled Steak & Chicken with Veggies & Rice Grilled Chicken with Double Rice Service The Hibachi service is fun and entertaining though we usually opt for the table service.  Table service is quick and efficient. Sunliner Diner The Sunliner Diner is a relatively new diner right on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.  It is very popular with tourists and locals alike.  It was built to resemble the diners of the 1950's and for the most part it has accomplished the desired effect.  During normal restaurant busy periods you can expect to wait for a seat at the Sunliner Diner.  Since the diner is right on the Parkway, there is plenty to see while you wait.  They always have a couple of antique cars parked near the front of the parking lot and there are several opportunities for pictures of some of the local attractions. Applewood Farmhouse Grill The Applewood Farmhouse Grill is a destination restaurant that is part of a larger dining and shopping complex along with the original Apple Barn.  The two restaurants share much of the same menu items with the Applewood Farmhouse Grill having typical menu service and the Apple Barn using a more traditional family style service.  The lines are usually long to get in both restaurants but tend to move quickly.  There is plenty to see and do while you wait on a table.  They include the Apple Barn store, a winery, a Christmas store, a candy store and an ice cream shop.  All of this nestled at the edge of an apple orchard.   Food Menu Complimentary with Every Meal - Apple Fritters, Apple Butter and Applewood Julep Two Egg Breakfast with All The Fixin's Smoky Mountain Biscuit Benedict   Service Quick, efficient and friendly.   Location 220 Apple Valley Road - Sevierville, Tennessee 37862 865-428-1222

Holston's Holston's is a local favorite, away from the tourist areas, yet still convenient to all that the area has to offer.  Known for their locally inspired cuisine,  Holston's is pefect for a quick lunch or a casual dinner in the evening.  The express lunch menu on Tuesday's through Thursday's offers several items for $9.99, but take a look around and you will notice that most diners are enjoying their all you can eat chicken and dumplings.  I've never had a bad meal here and we eat here often.   Food Sirloin Steak with Salad and Baked Potato Meatball Appetizer Country Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Mac-N-Cheese   Service Perfectly paced and always pleasant.   Location 639 Dolly Parton Parkway - Sevierville, TN 37862 865-365-4205  

J.T. Hannah's J.T. Hannah's is one of our favorite restaurants in Pigeon Forge.  It is set in a recreated warehouse with all the exterior and interior decorating items that one would expect of an early 20th Century warehouse.  J. T. Hannah's is located right on the Parkway in the center of Pigeon Forge.  They have ample parking and are within walking distance of a lot of the local attractions and hotels.   Food The menu includes a great selection of appetizers, salads, pasta, chicken, burgers, steaks and seafood.  We have had many items from this menu over the last few years and the food never dissapoints.
